The LEAN + Energy Efficiency and Environment Program

With the LEAF program, getting lean and green has never been more affordable. LEAF helps Nova Scotia’s small and medium sized manufacturers find ways to boost productivity, enhance competitiveness and shrink your environmental footprint – for a raction of the cost.

LEAF will cover 75% of the cost for a qualified consultant to assess Productivity, Energy Savings or Environmental Impact assessments on your manufacturing process. The assessments are valued at $6000 and the cost to you is just $1500.

What’s more the LEAF program will help you identify and tap into various assistance programs that can offset the cost of the efficiency upgrades.
