For energy assessments the initial plant visit by an qualified consultant is free. If a company chooses to apply for LEAF, the consultant will carry out an efficiency audit with energy, productivity (LEAN) or environmental focus worth up to $6,000. Companies will contribute 25 per cent of the audit cost up to $1,500 (for professional services valued up to $6,000).
